			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are few indications of depression. The most common is getting up late in the morning or not wanting to leave the bed. In fact, if you are highly depressed then, the idea of leaving bed doesn&#8217;t even cross your mind.</p>
<p>Waking up in the morning can help you fight depression. Its ok to get up late in the morning for few days but after few days you must take charge of your mind and tell it to get up and leave the bed at proper time in the morning. Getting up in the morning gives you double energy than when you get up in afternoon or evening. Getting up in the morning makes you feel highly energetic and highly optimistic.</p>
<p>To get rid off depression, the first thing you need to do is to stop thinking that you are depressed. The idea and feeling that you are depressed and always finding reasons of why you are depressed only makes it worse. Instead try to find some activity which you really enjoy and are passionate about. If its an outdoor activity involving some physical work, then its best. For example, I love playing video games but it doesn&#8217;t really help me that much. It only works as a short term distraction. But if I go to play football, it works like a wonder. If you play football daily, you are not going to feel depressed again, at least not for lighter problems.</p>
<p>The easiest way to fight depression, is to maintain a healthy lifestyle which involves physical activities, good and healthy food and a good laugh everyday.</p>

Various activities like late night work, late night parties, televisions, drugs, smoking etc keep us up very late. Next day we have to get up early for work and we are not able to get proper sleep. Deprivation of sleep causes various problems for mental health. Brain needs regular proper sleep and if we don&#8217;t sleep enough, brain doesn&#8217;t get enough rest to function optimally. Below are some points which can help you get proper sleep. Most of them are commonly known to people, but still most of the times, they are ignored.</p>
<p>Always sleep at a fixed time everyday and get up on a fixed time. Make it a habit. Body adjusts to these timings and you&#8217;ll always feel sleepy when the clock ticks bed-time. But, if you let these timings change everyday, you may never get proper sleep.</p>
<p>Avoid sleeping in day. Many people feel sleepy around afternoon but try to avoid it or take a very short nap. If you sleep in day, you can&#8217;t sleep properly in night.</p>
<p>Avoid caffeine products like coffee, chocolate etc before bed time. Caffeine stimulates brain and will not let you sleep.</p>
<p>Always use bed for sleep only and not for work and other activities. This way body knows bed is for sleeping.</p>
<p>Don&#8217;t take worries to bed. Try to stop thinking and relax after going to bed.</p>
<p>Try to do some yoga, deep breathing exercises to help you relax.</p>
<p>Try to sleep in a noiseless environment and put off all the lights.</p>

Its true that damage to lungs is severe but its not the only organ in the human body which gets affected by smoking. Smoking affects every part and organ of human body. After lungs, human brain is probably the most affected part of human body. Surprisingly, most people say that they feel energetic after smoking, it relieves them of depression, anxiety etc and they feel enthusiastic whereas the thing is smoking kills your brain cells, affects your brain power and memory negatively and everything that is controlled by brain which is everything.</p>
<p>After smoking for a while, your IQ drops, you start forgetting things and you get distracted easily. Another indirect effect of smoking on brain is because of lungs. Because lungs have been damaged because of smoking, there is not optimum supply of oxygen to brain which again affects mental power. If you are a student or you hope to make a career in fields which involve using lots of brain power like research or a scientist or a doctor, you really need to quite smoking.</p>
<p>If you quit smoking, you feel the effects within 24 hours. Smoking poisons the body. The cleansing of body takes good time, but you&#8217;ll start feeling the good effects within 24 hours. You should feel lot better and more intelligent after a week or two of quitting smoking.</p>
