There are few indications of depression. The most common is getting up late in the morning or not wanting to leave the bed. In fact, if you are highly depressed then, the idea of leaving bed doesn’t even cross your mind.
Waking up in the morning can help you fight depression. Its ok to get up late in the morning for few days but after few days you must take charge of your mind and tell it to get up and leave the bed at proper time in the morning. Getting up in the morning gives you double energy than when you get up in afternoon or evening. Getting up in the morning makes you feel highly energetic and highly optimistic.
To get rid off depression, the first thing you need to do is to stop thinking that you are depressed. The idea and feeling that you are depressed and always finding reasons of why you are depressed only makes it worse. Instead try to find some activity which you really enjoy and are passionate about. If its an outdoor activity involving some physical work, then its best. For example, I love playing video games but it doesn’t really help me that much. It only works as a short term distraction. But if I go to play football, it works like a wonder. If you play football daily, you are not going to feel depressed again, at least not for lighter problems.
The easiest way to fight depression, is to maintain a healthy lifestyle which involves physical activities, good and healthy food and a good laugh everyday.
